Technical packs are an essential part of any clothing and fashion company’s development, procurement, and costing process. There are some opinions about the best way to create a tech pack.
A tech pack consists of a series of training documents that a clothing manufacturer must convert into a product. Many apparel companies allow designers, sample makers, and product developers to create custom spreadsheets or PDM / PLM solutions to create detailed technical packs.

It is common to change a few things after producing the first sample. You don’t want an example so far from your imagination that you basically have to start to get the first example that you can actually work with. Don’t forget that you are paying for every model and model review you need. So why not spend a little more on a tech pack in the first place? There is a great analogy; there are three adjectives, but you can only choose two: quality, cheap and fast. A complete list of all the items needed by the factory to make your garments. From sewing thread to the main fabric, buttons, zippers and many more, everything needs to be laid out.
Exemplary fashion sketches of any color you wish to produce and corresponding Pantone references.
The season, the date, the name of the style, the name of the designer, and the brand’s name.
Size range for each piece.
Add room for the factory model metabolism.
Written notes describing the main features of the design.
Concise and balanced measurements on the half.
